This page describes the intended approach to privacy. The final policy should be checked against the services and forms actually enabled on the live site.
Information submitted through forms
Connected forms may send information to the project's Supabase database for review. Only collect information needed for the stated purpose, limit administrator access, and delete records when no longer needed. Do not submit patient-identifying or confidential clinical information.
Novi AI assistant
Messages sent to Novi are transmitted to the configured AI service for a response. Do not enter names, dates of birth, medical record details, images, or other identifying information about a baby or family. AI conversations can be inaccurate; verify information with a qualified clinician.
Third-party links and services
External organizations have their own privacy policies. Donation services, if connected later, will process payment information under their own terms. This website should not be described as collecting no data unless the live configuration has been verified.
Children and families
Forms should collect minimal information and use age-appropriate explanations. Parent/guardian involvement may be necessary for certain programs. No patient story, photo, or testimonial should be published without informed permission and appropriate authorization.
